And with that geeky pre-face, on to the real question. I've been thinking about getting either a PSP or Nintendo DS and I'm honestly at a crossroad about which one.

Yes, the PSP has movie capabilities, plus there's a whole bunch of hacks out there that pretty much make it a portable computer. Plus, GTA: Liberty City Stories.

On the other hand, I already have a laptop for all that, not to mention that while it's nice to have all that, after 3-4 hours, the PSP becomes just a useless, albeit sexy, expensive brick since it's battery pretty much runs out. So forget long trips with it. Unless you buy the battery pack, I guess, but that just makes it less portable.

The DS has the plus side of a longer battery life, a bigger game library (not that it really affects me that much), cheaper games (a big plus), and it's also incredibly interesting. On the downside, while it does have WiFi capability, it doesn't have an integrated browser, or image viewer or much flexibility for hacks. Plus I can get it as cheap as $100 (vs. the PSPs $250 starter price).

So..., what do you think? Right now I'm leaning towards the DS, but I'm not sure.

I am currently updating from the Chicago O'Hare International Airport, after having paid the unreasonable amount of $6.95 for 24hs of Internet access, even when I'm only going to be here for just another 2-3 hours. Ah, Internet, teacher, mother, secret lover... < /simpsons>.

Let me tell you something crazy about the Northern Hemisphere. Apparently, over here, it's winter this time of the year. I know! What the hell?

Guys and gals, I need help. I'm trying to find an mp3 copy of a song by Love Unlimited Orchestra called "Bayou". I know it exists because I've heard it on the radio, and Google turns up a few results for it, but I can't seem to find it on the p2p network nor on iTunes Music Store.

So, if you happen to have it, or have a p2p program that finds a copy of it, I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know so I can get it from you.
